Harry Waterworth

I have been teaching swimming for the last 16 years both within commerical leisure and swim schools locally around St. Albans. Swimming drove a passion for water safety and lifesaving which led to my degree and career as a Paramedic. I now work full time as a Paramedic manager within the busiest urban ambulance service in the world. 

In October 2021 i recognised the need for higher quality school swimming lessons, in line with the national curriculum, to ensure that locally not only are children safe but they are also confident and enjoy swimming. This alongside support from a local primary school and support from my family, enabled me to build Waterworth Swim Academy.

Following on from our success with the local school partners i have expanded the business, harnessing the teams expertise to deliver school holiday crash courses as well as private swimming lessons.

From the beginning we have been determined to ensure we provide the best quality of lessons with the best teaching methods and the strongest support for our swimmers. As such we are members of the Swim England School Swimming and Water Safety Charter and continue to work to their standards and above.
